<P>An enzyme complex for biological conversion of CO to CO<SUB>2</SUB> was anchored on the cell surface of the CO<SUB>2</SUB>-utilizing <I>Ralstonia eutropha</I> and successfully resulted in a 3.3-fold increase in conversion efficiency. These results suggest that this complexed system may be a promising strategy for CO<SUB>2</SUB> utilization as a biological tool for the production of bioplastics.</P><BR><BR><P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>An enzyme complex was anchored on the cell surface of <I>Ralstonia eutropha</I> and successfully resulted in a 3.3-fold increase in CO conversion efficiency.<BR><IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c5cc00832h'><BR></P>
